Christopher J. Barden, PhD

Chief Operating Officer

Christopher J. Barden holds a Ph.D. in Physical (Computational) Chemistry from The University of Georgia and a B.S. from James Madison University. Dr. Barden is the chief architect of a unique exogenous database technology and has performed modeling for several different targets in the Weaver lab. He left that lab to serve as DeNovaMed’s computational chemist and general manager. He has experience in business development and accounting through work experience in the banking and financial software programming industry. He also has been a co-founder in several start-ups including Identity Matrix Enterprises, a pioneer of the eBay computer business, and a small feature film company.

Fan Wu, PhD

Head of Organic Synthesis

Fan Wu is a talented synthetic organic chemist who has performed much of the synthesis of DeNovaMed’s drugs as a member of the Weaver lab. Dr. Wu left the Weaver lab to come work as Head of Synthesis for DeNovaMed. He has a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Research Institute of Petroleum Processing, Beijing, a M.S. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Nankai University, Tianjin and a B.S. in Chemistry, Lanzhou University, Lanzhou.

Annette L. Henneberry, PhD

Head of Biological Science

Annette L. Henneberry is an accomplished biochemist with expertise in enzymology, protein structure/function, bioinformatics, cell biology, and pharmacology. Her knowledge encompasses the enzymology and protein structure/function of our antibacterial targets. Dr Henneberry has a Ph.D. from Dalhousie University and a B.S. (Hons) from Dalhousie University.
